Central Training Group is committed to safeguarding all children, young people and vulnerable adults and takes all reasonable steps to ensure that children, young people and vulnerable adults are protected whilst they are studying and at home from neglect, physical, sexual or emotional harm. All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to professionally and appropriately.
- Prevent Duty
Central Training Group recognise that safeguarding against radicalisation and extremism is no different from safeguarding against any other vulnerability. Our staff, learners and courses are expected to uphold and promote the fundamental principles of human rights and British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect, and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Staff are trained in being vigilant about radicalisation and extremism and ensure that they follow procedures to refer Prevent issues to professional bodies and external agencies to ensure that learners are safe from harm.
- Equality and Diversity
Central Training Group respects and values all people regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. Central want everyone to feel valued and to achieve their full potential.
