Digital Marketing & Graphic Design Apprenticeships

Enrolling in one of Central Training Group’s Digital Marketing Apprenticeships, or Graphic Design Apprenticeships will set you up perfectly for your career into the creative or consumer industries, and the wider world of business.

Join a level 3 apprenticeship in digital marketing or graphic design and learn on the job, in your workplace and online via remote links with your tutors.

Traineeship

If you are between 16-18 years old with no or very little work experience, then a Traineeship Programme could be the ideal stopgap for you. A traineeship will concentrate on building up your employability and focus on getting you ready for a digital marketing or graphic design apprenticeship.

These programmes will last a minimum of 6 weeks and can extend up to a maximum of 24 weeks, but you can generally expect to move on to a full apprenticeship within 16 weeks.

Digital Marketing: Level 3 Apprenticeship

A Digital Marketing apprenticeship will see you build and implement digital marketing campaigns across a range of online and social media platforms.

You’ll learn the principles of coding, marketing and search engine optimisation.

What you need:
Ideally, you will have experience with social media platforms, SEO and Pay Per Click marketing channels, but not required.

What you will achieve:
When you complete this Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, you will achieve an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing.

This can lead to roles like:

  • Social media manager

  • Digital marketing assistant

  • Marketing assistant

How does it work?
This level 3 apprenticeship will take a minimum of 18 months to complete.

You’ll receive expert face to face training, supported by online learning and on the job work experience to develop valuable skills.

You can expect to spend 20% of your working week training, but this doesn’t mean you’ll have to be on a training course or in a classroom. You might be carrying out research for projects and assignments set by your tutor, work shadowing colleagues, learning new skills or attending training courses run by your employer.

Our tutors will visit you every 3-4 weeks and spend 2-3 hours with you at each session. They will tackle agreed learning topics, mark your assignments and written work, set targets and help you plan for assessments. They’ll be your champion throughout the process, so use them to get the most out of your training.

Graphic Design: Level 3 Apprenticeship

A Graphic Design Apprenticeship includes understanding the concepts and ideas used in branding, advanced use of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, ideas and concepts in design, design for advertising, market research and writing a design brief.

What you need:
To have completed a Graphic Design Support Level 2 apprenticeship.

What you will achieve:
When you complete this Graphic Design Apprenticeship, you will achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship in Graphic Design.

This can lead to roles like:

  • Junior-level graphic designer

  • Artworker

How does it work?
The level 3 apprenticeship will take between 12 and 18 months to complete.

You can expect to receive expert face to face training, paired with online learning, and of course on the job work experience to develop those valuable skills.

We’d expect training to take approximately 20% of your working week, but just like in level 2 you don’t have to be in a formal classroom.

Your learning will take place in your workplace, and every 3-4 weeks your tutor will come to you and spend 2-3 hours with you at each session.
