Business Administration & Operations Apprenticeships

Central Training Group’s business apprenticeships are tailored to you, to ensure you get the best possible start in your career.

We will consider all applicants, irrespective of grades.

Our apprenticeships are available from level 2 up to level 5 and are all delivered in your workplace, meaning you can continue to progress and learn, throughout your career path, in a way that works for you.

Traineeship

If you are between 16-18 years old with no or very little work experience then a Traineeship Programme may be ideal for you. The Traineeship Course is tailored to your individual needs, will concentrate on building up your employability and focus on getting you ready for a business apprenticeship.

These programmes last a minimum of 6 weeks, up to 24 weeks. However, most learners progress to an Apprenticeship by week 16.

Business Administration: Level 3 Apprenticeship

Joining a business with a level 3 apprenticeship will see you accelerate your skills in managing team performance and development, project management and communication.

Gain experience in a real world business environment and learn with our expert trainers, who will come to your workplace to deliver your training.

What you will achieve:

When you complete this Business Administration Apprenticeship, you will achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.

This can lead to roles like:

  • Office Administrator

  • Business Administrator

  • Joining business support teams such as admin teams

  • Secretary/PA

How does it work?

This level 3 apprenticeship will take a minimum of 18 months to complete. You’ll receive expert face to face training, supported by online learning and on the job work experience to develop valuable skills.

You can expect to spend 20% of your working week training, but this doesn’t mean you’ll have to be on a training course or in a classroom. You might be carrying out research for projects and assignments set by your tutor, work shadowing colleagues, learning new skills or attending training courses run by your employer.

Our tutors will visit you every 3-4 weeks and spend 2-3 hours with you at each session. They will tackle agreed learning topics, mark your assignments and written work, set targets and help you plan for assessments. They’ll be your champion throughout the process, so use them to get the most out of your training!

Business Administration: Level 4 Apprenticeship

A Business Administration apprenticeship at level 4 includes managing an administration department, managing events, analysing and presenting business data and project management, as well as dealing with recruitment and selection.

What you will achieve:
You will achieve a Higher Apprenticeship in Business and Administration, perfect for roles where you’re managing or leading a team.

You’ll develop skills in innovation and budget management, perfect for roles such as:

  • Office Supervisor

  • HR Assistant

  • Senior Administrator

  • Office Manager

  • Executive assistant

  • Business Development Manager

How does it work?

The level 4 apprenticeship will take 18 months to complete.

Just like in the level 3 apprenticeship, you can expect to receive expert face to face training, paired with online learning, and of course on the job work experience to develop those valuable skills.

Operations & Department Management: Level 5 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship includes operational management, project management, finance, managing people, decision making and management of self.

What you will achieve:

You will achieve a Higher Apprenticeship in Operations & Department Management, perfect for roles like:

  • Operations Manager

  • Regional Manager

  • Divisional Manager

  • Roles where you’re tasked with managing projects, managing change, coaching and mentoring and managing finance.

How does it work?

The level 5 apprenticeship will take 30 months to complete.

Just like in the level 3 and 4 apprenticeships, you can expect to receive expert face to face training, paired with online learning, and of course on the job work experience to develop those valuable skills.

We’d expect training to take up approximately 20% of your working week, but just like in level 3 you don’t have to be in a formal classroom.

Your learning will take place in your workplace, and every 3-4 weeks your tutor will come to you and spend 2-3 hours with you at each session.
